I made these potatoes quite often when we lived in St. Louis. For some reason, haven’t prepared them lately. I remember everybody liked them then.
Creamed Potatoes
Servings 4
Ingredients
- ¾ kg potatoes
- 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
- 4 dl milk
- Salt white pepper
- Finely chopped parsley
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut in slices or cubes.
- In a kettle, bring the milk and margarine or butter to a boil.
- Add the potatoes and cook, covered, till tender.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Serve with fried meat or fish.
