Miso Glazed Asparagus

We discover this recipe after both of you left home, but we have served it when you have been back visiting. Very delicious!

Miso-Glazed Asparagus

  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pepper
  • 1 tablespoon light miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Non-stick spray


  • Preheat oven to 450F.
  • Spray a large tin pan with non-stick spray. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the pan. Spray with non-stick spray and sprinkle with the pepper.
  • Roast the asparagus, shaking the pan occasionally, until crisp-tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the miso and lime juice in a small bowl.
  • Remove the pan from the oven. Toss the asparagus with the miso mixture.
  • Bake the asparagus until tender and glazed, about 3 minutes.
